How our Language Courses work

Need to know a foreign language but haven't got all day to sit in a classroom learning grammar? With Language Bite, watch our short online video lessons at a time that suits you and learn a language in fun and easy 'bites'. Each video lesson teaches you a useful phrase with tips on meaning, pronunciation, cultural points and short challenge to check what you've learnt!

It's simple to get going in five easy steps:

1.  Choose the Language you want to learn!

Join Language Bite on our join now page and select your course. Currently we are offering Survival Mandarin for Absolute Beginners which gives you 100 video lessons from as little as 45c each. There are lots of other languages to come! Once you've joined we'll send you a confirmation email.

2.  Each day receive a link to your online video lesson

Every weekday (Monday - Friday) you will receive a lesson link by email. Click on the link, sign in, and view your online video lesson at a time that suits you! (View a sample lesson on our free trial lesson page). You can watch each lesson up to five times and we recommend that you keep up to date with your lessons so that you can make the most of learning a little at a time.

New!  In a hurry? Try the new Language Bite Express option - all lessons available at once!

3.  Download your audio file

After viewing the lesson, download your audio 'bite' (mp3 file) of the new phrase and store it on your computer or MP3 player. Listen to this as often as you need to, to get the pronunciation right!

4.  Review your free PDF lesson summary

As well as receiving your online video lesson and free audio bite, you will also be able to save a written summary of each lesson in PDF format so that you have a permanent record of all you have learnt.

5.  Enjoy speaking a new language!

Try out your new phrase! You'll be surprised how easy learning a new language can be when you break it down to small 'bites' at a time.
